Biography
| I'm a British artist with a special interest in fantasy. I exhibit and sell my work through many outlets, both on and offline. Since I'm also a writer I draw a lot of inspiration from literature as well as myths and legends. I'm also inspired by Celtic art, Art Nouveau and Gothic architecture. I generally use my artwork to explore ideas...maybe to show a story from a new perspective, challenge the way the viewer sees women or even prompt them to wonder about God. Mostly I paint with acrylics, using glazes in layers to build up the picture. I also like working in mixed media to get different effects within the same image. |
